This K.V I.M.A started in Aug 1985 to cater to the educational needs of wards of Defense Personnel with Mr. Harish Chandra Aggarwal as I/C Principal

At present then are 3 sections in classes VI, VII, and VIII in classes IX and X there are four sections. As for classes XI and XII there are 03 sections that is computer science, science and humanities.

The Vidyalaya Building is located in beautiful and sylvan surroundings. As you enter the campus through the large gate, a uniformed security guard greets you. Right in front are the vast playgrounds which are a hub of activity. As you walk along the road towards the building you will notice the artistically painted boundary walls and the decorative railing all the sides. There is a large stage and cemented assembly ground in front of the building. The Vidyalaya Building is a model of simplicity and beauty. The Vidyalaya is fully financed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India. The Vidyalaya is managed by a local management committee with the head of Academic Department (HAD), IMA, Dehradun as Chairman.
